Visits to Uncle Walter’s home were always fun visits, most memorable was at the Barrie home, when I was exhausted from a terrible drive to Wasaga Beach (Holiday weekend traffic), and upon calling out of the blue, it was no problem to be put up for the night, and have a great visit and a warm bed for the night.
Condolences to Barb and Jim, Laureen and Peter and families

Dear Laureen, Peter, Ashley, Colleen, Barb and Jim, Rob and Kim and all the rest of the family members…..
Well it has been a very special time reminiscing with all the family members with favourite memories or thoughts of our Kimbley family and Uncle Walter during these last 3 weeks. One thing I think is I can’t believe he was 91. How did those years fly by? …and I always remember thinking as a young girl and I still think it…..I must have been special because I was named after Aunt Grace and my brother Richard Walter was named after uncle Walter….I didn’t know Grampas name was Walter…..as a little kid. Your parents were always so special to me and to all of us. The miles have kept us apart but the strong family ties have kept us close together. Always know you have your family in the east always ready to embrace you all. Especially during these next few days and during the memorial.
Love you…..Gary and Laura Mercer…and family from Cape Breton, NS.

My heartfelt sympathy to you all. The memories of my big brother
are so happy. He would throw me up to the ceiling when he came
home from working at the telegraph company all the time. He was always the one to help Margaret and I out with the horrible cod liver oil we had to take. He would always find a way to make it easier for us. Grace and Walter were so good to my children, taking us to Bruce’s Mills and various other places. These are just a few of the many memories of my big brother Walter. I love him so dearly. Love your little sister Dorothy “rat tails”.
