Bill passed suddenly at his home on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the age of 59 years. Bill was the beloved husband of the late Shelley Henderson (nee Taylor) and dear father of son, Rory. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Violet, and his sister Jean.
Bill considered his greatest achievements in life as building a family with the love of his life in Shelley, being a good father to his son, Rory, and being a committed and conscientious employee.
Bill was doing his best to enjoy his recent retirement from the position as Water Customer Fields Services Supervisor after 35 years with the City of Toronto. In his 10 months of retirement, Bill enjoyed indulging in his passion for cars, motorcycles and golf, doing a little traveling, and spending time with his long-time work friends who he considered family. Bill will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Condolences for Bill’s family are appreciated and may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

Dear Rory:
Your Dad was my very best friend! You’re Mom was the strongest most amazing person I’ve ever known. They will now finally be together ♥️. Your dad will be at peace in that. She’s the only one who kept him inline . He loved her so very much! Since my husband died 5 years ago I’ve been blessed to have a few vacations with my Wee Billy! I will treasure every moment of this last trip. I’ll miss and luv him forever ♥️. Luv Michele xo
